Tottenham’s Dele Alli reacts after being beaten up
On Wednesday night, Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli posted the following message on Twitter:

That was how Alli reacted after he was the victim of a burglary at his home during quarantine.

Robbers broke into Dele Alli’s home, wielded a knife
So what actually happened to Dele Alli? The Metropolitan Police have issued a statement:
Police were called at approximately 00:35 BST on Wednesday 13 May to reports of a robbery at a residential address.
Two males gained entry to the property and stole items of jewellery, including watches, before fleeing.
Two male occupants at the property suffered minor facial injuries after being assaulted. They did not require hospital treatment.
There have been no arrests. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
Tottenham’s Alli was punched in the face during the incident.
Also,the robbers were armed with a knife.
